Join Jinny on a trip Around the World. The journey focuses on a stunning 82" x 82" quilt featuring 16 fabrics. A travel theme is incorporated into the 12 lessons covering all the basics of patchwork, for both hand and machine piecing. The Mariner's Compass in the center may seem dififcult so, the pattern also includes instructions for an alternate star in the center and corners of the quilt. The 28 page pattern booklet included in the kit contains gourmet food recipes, patterns for travel accessories, travel tips and a passport to be stamped after completing each lesson. Both beginning and advanced quilters will enjoy the journey! The kit is housed in a unique "suitcase" box and includes the 28-page booklet and all fabric for the top and binding.
