Swamp patch is a great block for beginners. Make a single block as a pillow or small wall hanging. To make a full sized quilt, put multiple blocks side by side or alternate the blocks with one of the border print squares shown here.

NOTE ON DOWNLOADING THE PATTERNS:
Each pattern has a mark showing 2 inches. Please check your printout to
make sure the sizing is correct. Try working with the on-line versions of the pattern first, if they do
not print to the correct size try the TIFF versions. To view TIFF files you must have a graphics
application such as Corel, Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro (available as Shareware), etc.
