This strip quilt is made up of diamonds which are cut from a border print fabric. Any border will look great with this quilt. The diamonds are created by cutting four pieces from the border print fabric (see diagrams). To conserve fabric, alternate two different diamonds. The diamonds, which are 7" x 12", are placed length-wise in a strip with a coordinating fabric as the background. These long strips are then bordered with a narrow border print stripe. These completed strips are separated with a 6" wide piece of companion fabric. A border made up of the border print is placed around the outside of the quilt.

NOTE ON DOWNLOADING THE PATTERNS:
Each pattern has a mark showing 2 inches. Please check your printout to
make sure the sizing is correct. Try working with the on-line versions of the pattern first, if they do
not print to the correct size try the TIFF versions. To view TIFF files you must have a graphics
application such as Corel, Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro (available as Shareware), etc.
