The Millennium II fabrics have been used in the traditional Star of North Carolina block to make this spectacular quilt. The overall kaleidoscopic effect created when the blocks are set side by side utilizes the fabrics perfectly. Thirty blocks set side by side, 5 blocks by 6 blocks will create a finished quilt that is 70 1/2" x 80 1/2". Forty-two blocks set 6 blocks by 7 blocks will make a quilt that is 80 1/2" x 90 1/2". The quilt is finished off with the 1 1/4" narrow border from the Millennium II collection, a 3 1/4" of the green Millennium print and finally the wider 6" stripe from the border. See the block diagram for number placement of the fabrics.
