Don’t Miss the First Clue

The whirlwind at Jinny Beyer Studio continues. There is so much excitement about our new Mystery Quilt Block of the Month Moroccan Mystery. Our testers have finished their samples and all colorways have turned out great! David, one of our testers took some great photos along the way and we will show you his progress each month. He selected the Peacock color. You can also see the progress on my quilt through the video lessons that will be presented each month, I’m working on the Coffee colorway.

BOM 2017 Staff

The pattern for the quilt and the video lessons are free downloads from our BOM link in our monthly newsletter. Don’t miss the first clue! It goes out on Saturday, February 4th.  You still have time to sign up for the newsletter. If you read this blog and it is after February 4th, don’t worry! You will have to wait for the first Saturday in March for our next newsletter, but each month’s newsletter will have all the clues and video lessons for all the previous months.

I hope you will join us and many others around the world for this fun new program…stay tuned.

  15. When will the peacock fabric be available? I understand the border print won’t be available until the end of April, but just wondering if the rest of the fabric will be available sooner. Thanks

  19. Hello!
Been awhile since I visited the Design Studio’s page! Some lovely quilts always!
i have been working a little on piecing and beginning to long arm as well.
I never hear mention of this on the Jinny Beyer site. Hmm..
Waiting on some thread now and taking a little time to look at some of the fabrics in my stash and design a quilt. Still quite an amateur but love your fussy cuts and want to try it myself. I really should use some of these fabrics I just had to have while out browsing the stores. Kansas not close at all or I would indeed be there on Saturday afternoons if not having to work .. or worry about getting through rush hour traffic. Ha!
Good to see your work again Jinny! Looking forward to the Coffee!
Have a great spring.. not too far away..

  20. Can’t wait to start

  21. I’m want to be very judicious in cutting the fabrics since there is no “extra.” A few of the very small pieces seem to be a little “crooked” – will I have enough?

    1. Yes, if you purchased a kit from us, you will have enough fabric to complete the quilt.

  22. I can’t get past the place where I order my fabric and templates. Help!

    1. Please call us on Monday toll free at 1-866-759-7373 and we will help you place your order.

  23. Looks like I’m not the only one who did not receive there first block pattern. Please send it. Anxious to start.

    1. Please send an e-mail to service@jinnybeyer.com and we will help you out.

  24. I signed up in January, and I get your website updates and specials, but I did not get my newsletter with the first clue 🙁

    1. Please send an e-mail to service@jinnybeyer.com and we can help you out.

  25. I think I missed the first the instructions for the new BOM. Will you post it again? I am anxious to try it. I will try to order the fabric and then catch up. Thanks Jinny for sharing this and other fun things to do. Dana

    1. If you are signed up for the newsletter, when March arrives (the first Saturday of the month), you will have access to all previous clues.

  26. Thank you

  27. Trying to find clues for mystery quilt. Saturday, March 4th.

    1. Did you receive the monthly newsletter? Clue #2 is at the bottom of the newsletter.

  28. It’s Sunday March 5th still waiting for my clue. I will try to sign up again see if that works.
I did not even get the newsletter, anyone else having this issue?

    1. Hi,
It looks like you were not signed up to receive the newsletter so I have gone ahead and signed you up for next month along with forwarded you a copy of the March newsletter. Let us know if you still have problems.
      Thanks!

      1. Sorry I still have not received the March newsletter. It may have been bad Email address could you try again?

      2. This was just resent to you, happy quilting!

  29. did i miss the second clue for the mystery? i can’t seem to find it!
    help!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. It went out in the monthly newsletter on Saturday March 4, did you receive the newsletter in your inbox?

  30. Do you have a place where quilters can send pictures of their Moroccan Mystery? I was not able to use your fabrics. I went to my Favorite Quilt shop, Ladyfingers Sewing Center, in Oley Pa., owned by Gail Kessler. I found some fantastic fabrice and a border strip the all co-ordinates. I was so pleased that I wanted to show you my first completed step. I’m doing it all by hand, I have Quiltmaking by Hand, I’ve had it for years. This is not the first one I’ve done by hand. Moroccan Mystery is neat because it is a smaller quilt. Easy to get done and not end up in a UFO pile.
Thank You for doing this for us!

    1. If you are on Facebook, we would love for you to share what you have been working on. If not, please send your pictures to service@jinnybeyer.com and we will try to include them in our next newsletter.
