Open Book Pattern
Inspired by the theme of our 2019 Quilters’ Quest shop hop, Open Book uses precise fabric placement to create the illusion of a library full of books open and stacked in a pyramid.
Open Book looks tricky but the secret is in the method of construction; the project is put together in columns which allows it to be sewn with all straight seams.
This quilt is suitable for scraps; you will need 1 yard of four different shaded groupings: Darkest, Dark, Medium, and Lightest; you will also need a border print and mini-stripe fabric to complete the quilt as shown.
