  21. HAVE BEEN A FAN FROM THE START..I MADE A BEAUTIFUL BIRTHDAY QUILT FOR MY SONS 18TH ( YOUR CITISCAPE), AND FINALLY FOUND THE PERFECT BACKING IN TIME TO GIVE IT TO HIM FOR HIS 21ST..hA! IT WAS HAND PIECED AND HAND QUILTED, WHICH WOULD ACCOUNT FOR THE TIME IT TOOK, BUT, REALLY IT WAS THAT I JUST COULDN,T BRING MYSELF TO CUT YOUR GORGEOUS FABRICS…NOW YOUR DESIGNS CONSTITUTE ABOUT 1/2 OF MY STASH…KEEP UP THE GREAT INSPIRATIONS.

  22. I just started quilting last year, and I have to say your color theory and beautiful quilts inspired me to start. Your my hero, Thank you!

  23. Love your new blog.

  24. Thank you so much, Jinny! Since I discovered you and your fabulous quilts in January, you have become my idol! Since I retired from being an elementary school principal two years ago, I have made quite a few quilts, but none have the sophistication and beauty of yours. I don’t have enough praise!
I do have a question, though. I am currently working on a White Nights queen-sized quilt. The instructions say that each finished block should measure 11 1/2 by 11 1/2, but they don’t. They measure 11 1/2 by 12. Could that be because pieces 1B and 13B should be 1 1/4 inches wide instead of 1 1/2?
Thank you so much for all your advice and help.

    1. Thank you for your question, we have researched the pattern and it is correct. Seam allowances could play a big role in the size, check out Jinny’s latest tip on checking templates for her Cosmos BOM.

  25. I just loved the blog. Very interesting and amusing posts.
    Congratulations!

  27. I need you. In Portugal and I am trying to put a quilt together in my mind….when I return to North Carolina I want all my Jenny Breyer fabrics to be there! I have called your helpful staff at your studio. What I need is your opinion on making a double wedding ring large quilt in the brides and grooms Penn State colors. BLUE & GREY. Question do you think that I can get enough variation using the blues & grey? I would like it as scraping as I could get it by using different tones. Is this possible using your stuff???? And what do you thing of making the background in different blues pieced together and the rings pieced with beige to grey hues???////// OR would you do it the other way around? Oh I so wish you had a kit. I sent your quilt kits link to them. They are in love and want a romantic modern blue & grey double wedding ring one….I hope you can help this flustered MaGee out!!! I will be once again buying from your staff. That Rebecca is beyond helpful. Take your time answering me as I figure you are at market. Night night. Laters! Jean

    1. Sorry for changing your name Jenny Breyer….it was late here.

      1. Jinny, have you ever made a double wedding ring quilt??? Or designed one???

      2. No but stay posted for one done with Jinny’s fabrics in a Judy Niemeyer design…coming soon.

    2. Jinny thinks your ideas sound great. We will send you an image of some colors and see if this is what you are looking for. If so, let us know how many Fat Quarters you would like and we will pull together fabrics in this color range.
